Monta operators can now claim carbon credits by toggling on FuSE API integration, following Monta’s June 9 commitment to leave all credits with operators.
Miami, FL, June 15, 2026. Monta is a charging management platform for EV charging operators globally and today announced a partnership with FuSE, a leading Clean Fuel Standard management platform in North America. The two companies have built a direct API integration that gives Monta operators a fully automated path to capture carbon credit revenue across California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, British Columbia, and Canada at the federal level.
The partnership gives Monta operators four things:
- Full claim retention: Operators keep the data rights and the credit revenue, with Monta signing those rights over contractually.
- Preferential pricing: Monta operators using FuSE through the integration receive better pricing than going to FuSE directly.
- Automated reporting: Session, energy, and metering data flow from charger to FuSE via API integration with Monta, with no manual handling.
- Low barrier to entry: Operators activate the integration with a simple toggle inside their Monta software, no advanced setup required on their side.
Robert Glæsel, General Manager of Monta North America, said: “Last week Monta publicly committed to assigning carbon credit data ownership rights to operators, across every carbon credit program in North America. This partnership is the next concrete step on that commitment. Operators who want a fully automated path can use FuSE through Monta. Operators who want a different path keep that choice.”
Todd Trauman, CEO of FuSE, said: “We appreciate the transparency Monta is bringing to data ownership and credit rights. Being clear and upfront with operators about how that works is good for the whole market. Clean fuel programs are an increasingly important part of the economics of EV charging, and accurate participation starts with clean, reliable data. Monta’s APIs made our integration straightforward to build and let session data flow automatically, so operators get streamlined reporting from day one.”
This companion blog post walks through carbon credit scenarios for different operator types, including DC fleet operators, public AC networks, and multi-site deployments. Operators interested in the partnership can contact Monta here.
