EV charging subscriptions, billed your way

Changing a price or launching a plan should not mean a vendor request and a wait. In Monta Hub you define, price, and bill your own subscription plans for teams, fleets, and chargers, and the platform runs the recurring billing.

See every plan, subscriber, and payment in one place

Monta Hub gives you one view of your subscription business: active and pending subscriptions, the monthly revenue each plan generates, and every transaction behind it. Download receipts, reconcile against charging activity, and export subscriber data the moment finance asks for it. No spreadsheet to maintain on the side.

How it works

From plan to paid, without a vendor in the loop

Subscriptions are a self-service capability in Monta Hub. You build and change commercial offers yourself, and the platform runs the recurring billing.

Pick a plan type, set your price and operator fees, and choose how customers pay: by operator transaction, by invoice, or pay-as-you-go.

Why Monta

Built for the way operators actually earn

Recurring revenue should not depend on spreadsheets, manual invoicing each month, or waiting in a vendor’s queue to change a price.

Set your own prices

Change plans, fees, and pricing yourself. No support ticket, no waiting on a vendor to launch your next offer.

Recurring revenue on autopilot

The platform bills the right wallet on the right date, handles pro-rata, and retries failed payments before pausing service.

Revenue you can see

Track monthly revenue per plan, download receipts, and export subscriber data when finance needs it.

FAQs

Who can create subscription plans in Monta Hub?

Operator users with Admin or Manager rights. New plans are reviewed by your Monta Customer Success Manager before they go live.

What can customers be billed for?

Platform access and service-level agreements, charger leasing, SIM connectivity, Level 3 fees, per-member fleet management, and revenue shares, depending on the plan type you choose.

How do customers pay for a subscription?

By operator transaction or by invoice with no card required, or pay-as-you-go with a card. If a card is unavailable, pay-as-you-go subscriptions pause.

Can I approve subscriptions before they start?

Yes. Plans can activate automatically, or you can approve each one manually, set a custom first purchase date, and upload a contract before billing begins.

What happens if a payment fails?

From 18 May 2026, a failed payment moves the subscription to unpaid, starts a 14-day grace period, then pauses it and freezes the team’s chargers until it is resolved.

Can I change a plan after customers have subscribed?

Yes. Edit pricing and fees, apply changes to all subscribers or only new ones, and schedule updates for a future date. Changes are reviewed before they take effect.
