FAQs
Can we set different split rates for different site partners?
Yes. Each site partner relationship has its own split configuration — a 10% commission with one partner, a flat rate with another, all simultaneously.
Do site partners need their own Monta account to receive payouts?
Yes. Site partners are registered and given access to their own view of session data and earnings, removing a common source of disputes.
How is VAT handled on the split? Who accounts for what?
VAT and applicable sales tax are calculated and applied automatically on every split transaction. Both parties receive an itemised breakdown, including tax treatment.
Can we change the split rate after it's been set up?
Yes. Historical sessions retain the rate that was in effect at the time they ran, so your records remain accurate. The new rate applies from the point of change forward.
What happens to a split if a session is refunded or disputed?
The associated split is reversed accordingly — both the operator's share and the site partner's share are adjusted, and itemised records are updated.
Is there a limit to how many partner relationships we can run?
No practical limit. Operators on Monta today manage hundreds of individual site partner relationships from a single configuration.
