Activate roaming on your chargers
Inside Monta, toggle your chargers on for Roaming. Monta registers your charge points with each hub and your chargers appear in partner eMSP apps within 24 hours of activation.
Set your roaming tariffs
Create roaming-specific pricing that applies only to sessions initiated through hubs or peer-to-peer partners. You can set per-kWh rates, time-based charges, and session start fees. For specific eMSPs, you can set specific pricing in the bilateral agreement section of the Hub.
Publish and authorize
Once connected and roaming prices set, Monta publishes your charger locations, availability, connector types, and pricing to every eMSP. When a roaming driver starts a session at your charger, the authorization request travels from their eMSP to Monta, which validates and authorizes it in under two seconds.
Settle and get paid
After each roaming session ends, Monta generates a CDR and transmits it to the relevant hub or peer-to-peer partner. Monta reconciles incoming payments against transmitted CDRs, flags discrepancies, and deposits roaming revenue directly into your Monta Wallet. You see every session, every CDR, and every settlement line item in Monta Hub.

Do I need a separate contract with Hubject or Gireve?
No. Monta’s agreements with Hubject and Gireve cover your connection. You activate roaming inside the Monta platform, and your chargers are registered with the hubs directly. There is no additional contract to negotiate or sign.
Can I set different prices for roaming drivers and my own app users?
Yes. Roaming tariffs are configured separately from your direct-user pricing. You can set per-kWh rates, time-based charges, session fees, or idle fees specifically for roaming sessions. These apply automatically when a session is initiated through a hub or peer-to-peer partner.
How quickly do roaming drivers see my chargers after I activate?
Charger data: location, availability, connector types, pricing – is published to hubs immediately upon activation. Partner eMSP apps typically display new locations within 24 hours, depending on their own refresh cycles. Real-time availability updates reach hubs within 60 seconds of a status change.
What happens if a CDR is disputed or a settlement does not match?
Monta reconciles every transmitted CDR against incoming settlement payments. If a discrepancy appears, a missing CDR, a partial payment, or a rejected record, the platform flags it and provides the full session audit trail for dispute resolution. Monta handles the dispute process directly with the hub or partner on your behalf.
Can I change roaming tariffs at any time?
Yes. Roaming tariff rules can be updated at any time in the Monta Hub. Changes apply to new sessions immediately.
