How do I use the home page in Monta Hub?

Last updated: 23 August 2026

The home page is the first screen you see when you open the new Monta Hub. It brings your network status, a set of performance cards you can tailor to your role, and the Monta AI assistant together in one place. This article explains what the home page shows and how to make it your own.

For: Operators using the new Monta Hub. The home page is rolling out gradually, so it may not yet be available to every operator.

Where do I see uptime in Hub?

Uptime shows on the home KPI, on a site Statistics tile, and on /locations/{id}?view=uptime (Overview dropdown).

The tooltip talks about reliable status, in scope, and data from 01.11.2024. There is no owner filter on this UI. Insights “Your sites” is public and available sites — not owner-only.

What does the home page show?

The home page brings together four things:

  • A greeting with today’s date, your network’s overall status, and a needs-attention line for anything urgent.
  • Overview cards — your live network health and your key performance metrics.
  • The Monta AI assistant, where you can ask questions about your network, billing, and customers.
  • Any widgets you have pinned from Studio.

What do the overview cards show?

The overview has two groups of cards:

  • Network health — the current number of charge points on your network, and how many are disconnected, in error, or in maintenance right now. Select a card to open the matching list in Network.
  • Performance — metrics over your chosen time range, such as sessions per charge point, revenue per charge point, uptime, gross revenue, and failed sessions. Each card shows the change versus the previous period, and the card with the biggest change is highlighted.

Use the time range in Customize overview to switch between the last 7, 30, or 90 days. The performance cards require Insights access.

How do I see what needs attention?

  • The needs-attention line under the greeting appears only when you have open alerts. Select it to open Alerts, or select an individual alert to go straight to it.
  • The system-status pill shows whether all Monta systems are operational and links to the Monta status page.
  • The What’s new button appears when there are unread product updates.

How do I use Monta AI on the home page?

Monta AI sits at the bottom of the home page. You can ask it anything about your network, billing, or customers.

  • Type a question and press Enter, or select one of the suggested questions. The suggestions change with the time of day — for example, an overnight summary in the morning.
  • Select the expand control to open Monta AI full-screen. Press Escape or select collapse to return.

How do I set up my daily brief?

The daily brief is a prompt that Monta AI can prepare each time you open the home page — for example, a short overnight summary of downtime, failed charging sessions, and alerts.

  1. Open the Daily brief settings next to Monta AI.
  2. Edit the prompt to describe what you want summarized.
  3. Turn on Auto-send on load if you want the brief to run automatically when the home page opens. Leave it off to have the prompt prepared but not sent.
  4. Select Save.

How do I customize my home page?

Select Customize overview near the greeting to tailor the page:

  • Role — pick a role (Admin, Operations, Finance, Support, or General) to load a curated set of cards. Changing any card turns your board into a Custom layout.
  • Time range — set the performance cards to the last 7, 30, or 90 days.
  • Cards — show or hide individual cards, or reset to your role’s defaults. You can also drag the performance cards to reorder them.
  • From Studio — pin a Studio dashboard or individual widgets to your home page.
  • Appearance — turn the night sky on or off. The night sky draws your charging network as a field of stars, one per charge point.

Your choices are saved to your account.

How do I pin widgets from Studio?

  1. Open Customize overview and go to From Studio.
  2. Search for a dashboard.
  3. Pin the whole dashboard, or pin individual widgets.

Pinned widgets appear under Pinned from Studio and follow the same time range as the rest of your home page.
